From January to March, industrial enterprises above designated size in China achieved a total profit of 1505.53 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.3% (calculated according to comparable standards). The mining industry achieved a total profit of 296.17 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 18.5%. Among them, the total profit of coal mining and washing industry was 152.69 billion yuan, down 33.5% year on year.
From January to March, industrial enterprises above designated size in China incurred operating costs of 26.4 trillion yuan, an increase of 2.5%. The operating cost of the mining industry was 937.82 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.8%.
